Continuing on in the familiar way as the previous four years, with two sessions of ten days each, The Kishigten meets every October and again in April. Equally now as in the past attending all sessions in sequence over the years is of the utmost, both for the integrity of the teaching and how it must be taken in to comprehend what follows, but also to allow the depth of personal and independent work at home to form in a more story-like village organic fashion.
Due to the beautiful character of the particularly lively diversity in the surprising array and breadth of comprehension that has blossomed during the last four years in such a distinct way for each of the Elder and Younger groups separately, combining the uniqueness of both groups, as if they were peoples of distinct origins, has some of the spiritual windings so desperately hoped for in regards to the cultivation of peace without monoclturalism.
The hope, of course is that delicious spiritual collision of all this great dedicated swimming and struggling to row through this prejudice melting sea of grief, remembrance language, of throat, hands and nature will somehow give us the ability, to eventually make an exuberant and tangible feast that moves toward the feeling of the Divine in Nature that is greater that the sum of all our parts and understandings.
In my usual flagrant disregard for measured time, and the distance civilization has drifted from any semblance of knowing, I had assumed we should have already found ourselves at this point at the end of four years! Foolish Martín. But even better because now we can go way deeper and we don’t have to say “Adios” to each other or the school. That would break the heart too deeply. So there is a lot more to learn now that there is something developed to learn it with and a use for it all.
All blessings,
Martín

The cost for ongoing students is $1500 (if tuition is paid before February 15th) and for the sporadic attendees, or those paying for one session at a time, it will cost $850 per session. We have struggled long and hard over the pricing of the school, trying to keep the price reasonable enough so that all who truly want to attend will not be hindered by their economic situation. Knowing full well that to maintain the respect for the teaching that is being offered, we should be charging at least $5000 a year per student, and in keeping with this we are suggesting a price of $2500 a year for those who can afford it. As we are a "non-endowed" school, this second tuition rate may help insure that Bolad’s Kitchen can continue on because we would then have a fund to provide scholarships to certain dedicated students who otherwise would be unable to attend. We are trusting completely that those who have the means to pay $2500 or more, according to their desires, will show their ability to make it possible for the remainder of the students to attend at the lower tuition, in accordance to their means as well.
The Cost is $1500 for one year (20 days)
Or $850 for one session
For those who can, the cost is $2500
If you would like to donate to the scholarship fund, please see form below (you do not need to attend Bolad’s Kitchen to donate to the scholarship fund).
If you would like, as well, to give money to make it possible for Bolad’s Kitchen to build Bolad’s Kitchen library, children's learning palace, visitor’s housing quarters and a ritual farming area according to Martín’s dream, please contact us directly at bluetayra@newmexico.com or (505) 583-9103. The library would be an elegant circular 3-story tower, lined with all the ancient volumes, rare wrtings, and all the books used over the years in Bolad’s Kitchen teachings as well as Martín Prechtel manuscripts and transcripts of previous classes available to all students and some select scholars.
